MY PRAYER FOR HELP...
Where are the embers
that once lit my fire?
The sweetest smell of
hope you gave off that
sparkled on my face,
those rain drops that
would fall at just the right
time in just the right
place that would make
everything seem like
it would turn out right?
Where did it go...?
Once joy would never
seem to depart, it felt as
tho my arms would be
lifted to you forever just
as a child that longs for
her dad to pick her up
and hold her there and
make the rest of the
world disappear...
My problems seen so small
when held next to all
the things I'm sure you
face in just one day.
If only my heart would
stop being so foolish! Oh
how i pray that i would
do what is right in your
eyes...
I need you.... be here
with me...stay beside
me.....please don't leave me..
Make my fire burn for
you like that of the
brightest fires! May
mine never go out!
Im not asking to be
lead out of the darkness, im
asking to see your face thru it all!
For i am not of this
world, but if i have to be
in it I pray that your light
would shine thru me.
